DIANE COLEMAN-BROWN

Recently promoted to the President and Chief Executive Officer of Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union, Diane Coleman Brown’s commitment is in serving the community and county.

Over her career at various national and global financial institutions, she has proven to be a leader that has expertise in strategic thinking, managing complex business operations, building relationships and growing dynamic teams.

Diane currently serves on the board of Bi-County Business Roundtable, MDCCCUA, PGCC Business Council, the Financial Empowerment Center at PGCC and Harris & Harris Wealth Management Group LLC.  Diane is also active with many other business organizations including Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce and Greater Bowie Chamber of Commerce.

She has had the privilege to speak to many groups and on numerous panels in the Greater Washington Region, most recently at the 2021 MACUMA conference and the 2022 US HHS National Conference. Among being recognized over her career for her accomplishments in 2022 she was honored to receive the Maryland Black Caucus Partnership award.

Diane Brown graduated from the CUES CEO Institute training program and is an alumnus of the University of Maryland. She is a lifelong resident of Prince George’s County, MD who enjoys reading, being outdoors & spending time with her children and two granddaughters, family and friends that are like family.  Her motto- Be Kind, Be Smart, Be Your Best has served her and those that know her well.

JOHN LEWIS

John Lewis is President and Chief Executive Officer of Harbor Bankshares Corporation and its principal banking subsidiary, The Harbor Bank of Maryland.

On April 6, 2023, Lewis became CEO of the Baltimore, Maryland-based Minority Depository Institution and Community Development Financial Institution and leads various banking and investment activities conducted through its subsidiaries and affiliates.

Lewis held various roles in the Global Wealth and Investment Management Division of Merrill Lynch. He began his tenure there as Chief Financial Officer for Bank Product Distribution in the Global Banking Group. He was previously a banker at Credit Suisse First Boston.

Lewis serves as Trustee and Investment Committee Chairman of the Maryland Teachers and State Employees Supplemental Retirement Plans and The Severn School. He formerly served as Vice Chairman of Baltimore City Community College, a designated Minority Serving Institution. Lewis is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, the Young President’s Organization, and the Real Estate Executive Council.

He completed formal executive training programs at M&T Bank and Fleet Bank. He received a B.S. degree from Cornell University where he was an INROADS Scholar and MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Robert Toigo Foundation Fellow.
